Dr. Hans J. Bocker

Dr. Hans J. Bocker is active worldwide as a financial and economic journalist, business consultant, seminar organizer, author, editor and professor. His work and interests have enabled him to travel, work and reside in 57 countries, including areas in the Far East, Africa, Europe and North America. His double background in mechanical engineering and business serves him well for work requiring managerial as well as technical expertise, including writing and editing.

He is a precious metals specialist, is a frequent guest speaker on that subject and co-organizes metals- and commodity - fairs.

His academic activities concentrate on subjects such as:

Production/operations management, purchasing/procurement,  safety, loss control, quality management, differences between German/Swiss and American/British business/management systems and approaches, international management, cross-cultural management, transportation and traffic, management/leadership for executives as well as Logistics.

As a journalist/academic he contributed to the following publications:

Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Die Welt, Börsenzeitung, Finanz und Wirtschaft, Ärztezeitung, Institute of Corporate Organisation and Communication as well as several South African, Canadian, American, Swiss and German journals and periodicals, quite frequently as front page columnist, and has also numerous
